About Us

Hello, Im kylie, founder, creator & Maker of Richmond Botanicals Co.

I am Mother of 4 (all grown up), a rag doll cat and 2 dogs and  am obsessed about creating & producing Beautiful products. I adore gardening, and growing my own botanicals,  driving, i love the simple things, i work too hard but i love every minute of it

mY GOAL IS TO HAVE a sustainable business thats good for us and our environment.

I Began this adventure when I couldnt SOURCE local NATURAL BATH & BEAUTY products. SO I CREATEd MY OWN.

I wanted NATURAL, LOCAL products with a PLANT BASED, ORGANIC/ WILDCRAFTED ingredient list I could understand.

My journey began making cold process soap and the difference in our skin amazed us all. I was addicted.

I started FORMULATING with organic butters, oils, clays and locally grown botanicals and NOW HAVE A WIDE range of  products.  all CREATED from raw ingredients,  as local as possible, from recipes I have created &  been refining for decades.  ALL MADE IN our RICHMOND studio in small hand made batches.  Using Organic calendula, chamomile, rose & rosemary to name a few of my favourite botanicals. our body care is FORMULATED WITH TASMANIAN BLUE GUM EXTRACTS & WILDCRAFTED ORGANIC tASMANIAN SEAWEED POWDERS & EXTRACTS. We do not use palm oil, i have never used palm oil in my soaps and never will!

WE ONLY use packaging that’s recyclable. NO PLASTIC PACKAGING!! I offer a refill service for my candles.  Our motto is  reTURN | REFILL | REUSE. Please drop your clean jars into us at the market or our shop front for recycling and refill service. yes the refills are cheaper!

WE ARE SITUATED IN Southern Tasmania IN the historic town OF Richmond. We are so lucky to have BELLEVUE HOUSE, 180 YEARS OLD PROPERTY THAT WE HAVE RESTORED, OUR SHOP, STUDIO & gallery. All LOCATED IN THE OLD STABLES THAT ONCE HOUSED 8 HORSES. Please come visit our hidden gem. We Are Tucked away Off the main STREET BEHIND Bellevue House.
